About Calm In The Chaos

Life can be loud, messy, and overwhelming. Calm In The Chaos was created to be a gentle reminder — and a practical resource — that even in the busiest seasons, you can find stillness, clarity, and purpose.

At its core, Calm In The Chaos exists to help women slow down, realign, and live more fully grounded in faith. Through thoughtfully designed experiences, resources, and community, our mission is to create spaces where women can breathe deeply, connect intentionally, and remember what matters most.

The Retreat

The centerpiece of Calm In The Chaos is our Fall Faith Retreat, a sacred space set apart for women to rest, reflect, and reconnect with God. Nestled in the heart of the Black Hills, the retreat offers a rare opportunity to step away from life’s noise and lay down the weight you’ve been carrying.

With guided conversations, scripture studies, meaningful community, and moments of stillness, the retreat is designed to nurture your soul and refresh your spirit. Whether you come weary or wondering, certain or searching — there is a place for you here.

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the invitation to simply be. Everything has been thoughtfully prepared so you can fully rest without the responsibilities of daily life weighing on your shoulders.

  • Nourishing Meals – No planning, shopping, cooking, or cleaning. Just soul-filled food and intentional hospitality. For once, you won’t be serving others — you’ll be served, cared for, and poured into.

  • Guided Experiences – Deepen your faith through scripture studies, guided conversations, and optional practices like meditation or yoga, all designed to meet you where you are.

  • Intentional Community – Step into a supportive circle of women who, like you, long for connection, renewal, and a space to exhale.

  • Time for Stillness – Whether you want to sit quietly, enjoy the beauty of the Black Hills, or soak in the hot tub, this retreat allows you to pause in whatever way your heart needs.

This isn’t just a weekend away. It’s an invitation to find the peace you’ve been craving. To listen. To reconnect. To breathe deeply and return home renewed.

Nourished In Every Way

At Calm in the Chaos, we believe rest should be full — not just spiritually, but practically too.

That’s why, for the entire weekend, you won’t need to plan a menu, prep a meal, or clean up a single dish.

We’ll begin each day with plenty of breakfast options, and on Saturday, we’ll be treated to delicious, catered lunch and dinner — lovingly prepared by Smokin' Hot Catering LLC, an incredible Black Hills caterer who runs their business with faith at the center.

As women, so many of us are used to taking care of others — making sure everyone is fed, full, and fine. This weekend? That responsibility stays home.

You’ll be taken care of.

You’ll be nourished — body and soul.

And yes, you’ll be well fed… and maybe even a little spoiled.
